1992 Donruss baseball features two sets with exclusive content. Series one features base cards #1-396 and Diamond Kings #1-14 while series two contains #397-784 and Diamond Kings #15-27. This set marks the first year Donruss created premium inserts by turning the ever popular Diamond Kings subset into a chase set. Also introduced were The Elite Series and The Legends Series which are some of the most sought after inserts from early 90s baseball. Making The Elite Series even more collectible was the inclusion of 5,000 copies signed by Cal Ripken Jr.
